Women's Watches

Watches have always been and still are a fashionable accessory for women. Some fashionistas look toward using their sparkling mobile phone for their timepiece needs. Yet, we’ve never met a woman who doesn’t love owning a few watches to add to their wrist’s bling collection.

In the past, smaller faces on watches were the “feminine” version of timepieces. That is no longer the case. Watches with bigger faces are now on-trend, although it’s always smart to have an assortment from which to choose.

The most popular women’s watches this year come in Automatic, Ceramic, Diamond, Digital, Diver, Gold, Quartz and Rose Gold.  Add a few bangles to a loose-fitting watch after work and transform your work look into a Happy Hour look.

Watches aren’t just for telling the time. They are an essential element to every woman’s wardrobe. For a little help on selecting your perfect timepiece accessories, see the buying guide below.

Women’s Watch Buying Guide: Which Watch is for me?

Women, just like men, come in all different shapes, sizes and fashion categories. Unlike men, women seem to have a wider variety of “looks” thus the need for an accessory wardrobe to match. Needless to say, women can go all out and discover which watches will work best with different outfits.

Our buying guide will help you select which type might be best for each outfit or look.

Automatic Watches are self-winding, everyone knows that. The cool thing about them is that they wind themselves automatically through their mechanics and the wearer’s motion.  Women’s watch manufacturers are designing many with larger faces, versus the petite faces of yesteryear. Invicta offers a few styles including a limited edition series by Disney we think you’ll love.

Ceramic Watches are wonderfully durable and said to be harder than stainless steel. A ceramic coating gives them an updated look plus they are lighter than most timepiece materials. Caravelle’s New York White Dial has been on our radar for a while. It will go with almost any outfit and is inexpensive.

Diamond Watches: Who doesn’t love diamonds, right? Women’s diamond watches are clearly more dazzling than men’s diamond watches.  Watches that sparkle in the light is classy and elegant.   What’s your pleasure? Diamonds on the dial, face, bezel or wristband? Our line of Citizen and Seiko diamond watches will give you choices galore.

Sports Watches: The chunkier the better is the sports watch fashion statement du jour (of the day).  Cascio has been a favorite for years as they were the game changer for digital and sports watches. Many of them are colorful, strong and offer multi-functionality, such as data storage, alarms, and stopwatches.  Some are specifically designed for divers and are water-resistant for up to 200-300 meters.

Yellow Gold Watches always provide an added bling to any outfit. They are classy and classic and come in many shapes and face sizes. Bracelet watches, for example, can be worn loose and accompanied by multi-colored or gold bangles and cuffs. Dare to make a bold statement. Movado designed a few sensational options this year and are a “must-see”.

Quartz Watches intricately utilize quartz crystals to keep time automatically. When you’re looking for a timepiece that is always precise and accurate, quartz watches are recommended. The Anne Klein and Mockberg collections are two of our favorites. They are contemporary, lightweight and super feminine.

Rose Gold Watches are the latest to gain traction as they weren’t produced much in past years. The lovely rose hue is soft yet eye-catching and when designers like Michael Kors and Bulova get into the act, the results are simply stunning.
