Inside is Seiko's dependable quartz caliber 8T63 movement, accurate to within ±15 seconds per month with an approximate 3-year battery life, driving a 60-minute chronograph in 1/5-second increments, a 24-hour hand, a peripheral small seconds hand, and a date display. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal keeps the dial protected, while luminescent hands aid visibility in low light. A fluted crown, screw case back, and water resistance to 100 meters (10 bar) round out the everyday durability, and the three-fold clasp with push-button release keeps the fit secure.
