ORIENT x SUBARU BRZ GT300 2012 Limited Edition Sports Chronograph TT0Y008D was produced to commemorate the collaboration with Subaru Technica International Inc. (STI). In 2012, Orient Watch sponsored the SUBARU BRZ GT300, STI's entry in Japan's SUPER GT series. In November 2012, Orient released the ORIENT x SUBARU BRZ GT300 2012 Limited Edition chronograph, with a worldwide production of 1,000 pieces. 100 pieces were allocated to the United States. The design of this eye catching sports chronograph is based on the 2012 SUBARU BRZ GT300. The blue color on the honeycomb patterned dial matches the bright blue color of the BRZ's body. The second hand is yellow, reminiscent of the vehicle's headlights. The dial and the bezel have a 3-D design to it. The watch is powered by an Orient quartz caliber KFB00 movement, housed in a 48mm wide by 11.6mm thick solid stainless steel case with screw down case back that are individually numbered. The chronograph function measures to 1/20 of a second. Orient TT0Y008D also offers a date display, scratch resistant mineral crystal, 24mm wide solid stainless steel bracelet with fold over safety clasp with push buttons, a screw down crown and is water resistant to 100 meters. Finally Orient TT0Y008D comes in a special BRZ GT300 blue box, again to match the blue body color of the vehicle.
