The Orient Star RE-AV0134E00B turns the inner workings of a mechanical watch into part of the design. Its green dial has an expanded openwork area that reveals the movement, balanced by an enlarged small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock and a power reserve indicator, so the dial stays both striking and easy to read. The 41mm stainless steel case is just 12mm thick, which helps it sit comfortably under a cuff, and a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating keeps the view clear. The solid stainless steel bracelet is 21mm wide and closes with a trifold deployant buckle with push button, giving a secure fit across a wrist range of 140 to 200mm. With 100 meters of water resistance, luminous markers and a see-through screw-down case back, it is built for daily wear and for showing off the movement. The Japanese-made automatic calibre F6F44 can also be hand-wound and offers over 50 hours of power reserve.
