Orient Star RE-AU0114E00B is a limited edition from the Contemporary Date line, produced in a run of 1,200 pieces. Its dial has a sandblast pattern finished with a clear coat, and the subtle gradation of color gives it a modern, trend-forward look. At 39mm, the stainless steel case suits business and casual wear alike. A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, and a see-through exhibition case back lets you watch the movement at work. That movement is the in-house F6N43 automatic caliber, which can also be hand-wound, with a power reserve of over 50 hours and a dial indicator that shows how much remains. A date window, luminous hands and markers, and 100-meter water resistance make it easy to use every day, and the stainless steel bracelet closes with a trifold deployant buckle with push button.
